Reporting to Store Manager.

Job Role

Our sales expert role is responsible for ensuring a class leading retail experience whilst maintaining a well presented and organised store. Guiding customers through the purchase process and offering hospitality and expert advice.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Support and advise customers on products and services in-store, by telephone, and by email.
  • Offer customers class leading advice and hospitality
  • Processing customer order requests.
  • Working with suppliers and placing orders.
  • Dealing with incoming stock both for store and customer orders.
  • Using our company ordering system to manage all aspects of orders and stock efficiently.
  • Maintaining the look, cleanliness and presentation of the store.
  • Making the odd Coffee
  • Help support managers with stock pre-orders and product related ideas.
  • Working with our service department as part of the purchase and aftercare process.
  • Dealing with warranty and after sales customer care.
  • Contributing to a professional but fun working environment.
  • Developing and maintaining an in depth product knowledge.
  • Any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.

Workshop Technician.

Reporting to Workshop Manager.

Job Role

Our workshop/service technician role is responsible for providing a class leading service experience across a wide range of bicycle types particularly focusing on modern MTB/Road and EMTB platforms.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Carry out all types of service work, diagnostics and repairs to an exceptionally high standard.
  • Build, PDI and test new bikes, including custom builds and click and collect orders.
  • Carry out test rides after each and every service/repair ticket.
  • Offer customers class leading advice and technical expertise.
  • Communicate with customers and ensure they are updated about their workshop orders.
  • Use our company Point of sale system to update workshop orders, allocate parts and ensure workshop orders are up to date and accurate.
  • Maintaining the look, cleanliness and presentation of the workshop to the highest standards.
  • Help support managers with stock levels.
  • Working with our sales department as part of the customer journey as and when required.
  • Assisting with warranty and after sales.
  • Contributing to a professional but fun working environment.
  • Developing and maintaining an in depth product knowledge.
  • To undertake continued professional development by way of online or in person training courses.
  • Any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role.

Passion for bikes and all things 2 Wheeled.
Qualified to Cytec level 2 or equivalent experience.
Previous workshop experience and the ability to undertake major service work on Road/Mtb and E-Mtb bikes.
An understanding of E bikes and E bike systems.
Knowledge of a specialist area of personal interest, for example, wheel building, suspension servicing, E bikes, Di2, etc.
Great general product knowledge.
Willingness to self develop and improve skills.
Excellent communication skills both towards your team and customers.
Strong organisation and presentation skills.
Passion for providing fantastic customer service.
