THE TALLBOY 6 LIMITED EDITION BUILD
A one off limited edition build with only 100 worldwide, there are only a very few of these Tallboys coming into the UK, featuring a stunning build kit along with some one off special components and a unique and stunning paint job. Rock Shox Flight Attendant suspension adapts to your own riding style, custom coloured gold flake Maven Ultimate brakes give all the stopping power you could ever need, and a full XX drivetrain is both super tough and super light. Bearings are taken care of by Chris King, with their hubs and headset also adding touches ofold throughout the build and the rims are the best in class Reserve SL|30 carbon. Even the paint is every bit as special as the bike, with an iridescent finish that burns like fire in sunlight.
ABOUT THE TALLBOY 6
Completely overhauled in every aspect from suspension platform to travel and frame features, the Santa Cruz Tallboy 6 takes the existing bike and makes it more predictable, longer travel and lighter all at once.
Still a full 29' wheeled bike, the latest version steps up in travel to 140mm front and 130mm rear opening up more trail options than ever before. The switch to a Horst Link suspension platform results in a more linear bike with suspension which stays active through both pedalling effort and braking forces, while also creating a predictable and consistent suspension feel.
Dropper post insertion is improved across all sizes and every bike can carry both a bottle and accessories via a new mount under the top tube. At the same time frame weight has been reduced with the new version coming in a full 300 grams lighter than the previous Tallboy 6.
Geometry is well thought out as always from Santa Cruz, with almost every number changing through the sizes to keep the ride balanced for every rider. All that combines to make for an incredibly versatile bike - light enough to take on massive XC missions, yet also hard enough hitting that for many riders it will be able to ride everything they might ever want to. Long rides, short rides, technical trail or easy flow, it's going to be a near perfect bike for the whole lot.
