RockShox 2027 Zeb Ultimate Charger 3.2 - 29 - Red - 170mm

LINEARXL AIRSPRING

A whole new air spring developed as part of a whole new system. A new twin tube system, with the "Air Annex" by the brake mounts and stanchion breather holes, finished with adjustable bottom out. A second smaller tube lives within the upper tube, resulting in a smaller piston to tube ratio. A new hollow air spring shaft increases the negative air chamber volume, alongside a hollowed top cap.

The spring curve is now more linear through the stroke, and to smooth the end of the stroke travel, ROCKSHOX added the Air Annex, built into the bottom of the lower leg.This extra volume reduces the progressive effect of air trapped at the bottom of the leg when the fork reaches full compression.

The result is an air sprung fork that behaves more like a coil fork, moving through travel predictably no matter where you already are in the forks travel.

ABO JOUNCE DAMPER

Easily adjustable at the bottom of the fork leg, ABO (Adjustable Bottom Out) lets riders adjust the bottom out progression without affecting the rest of the stroke consistent and predicatable.

CHARGER 3.2 DAMPER

The Charger damper has been retuned to match the LinearXL's position sensitivity, with fully independent high and low speed damping. New compression adjusters with clear markings are much easier to understand and make the forks much easier to set up.

BUTTERCUPS

Buttercups isolate the damper and air spring from the trail chatter that leads to numb hands. Rubber pucks live at the bottom or the air spring and dampers, soaking up about 20% of trail chatter by moving up to 4mm laterally.

BUTTERWAGONTECH

Below the wiper seals, dimples on the stanchions collect tiny amounts of oil from the bottom of the legs and transfer it up the legs to the wiper seals. Combined with ROCKSHOX new Maxima suspension fluid, this results in less running friction and static friction.

TORQUE CAP COMPATIBLE

Like previous LYRIK and ZEB forks, these forks are Torque Cap compatible for DH like stiffness. Normal Boost hubs are compatible, but if you have DT Swiss, Industry Nine or Hope hubs, we can advise on which end caps, w can advise on which end caps you can fit to make the most of this feature.
